We are pleased to announce our Club Championships for 2025! The event will be held at Wade Gymnastics Club on Sunday 13th July 2025.
Entry to this event is now open, and the entry will close on Saturday 31st May. After the event has closed, the team will review the number of gymnasts in each category and communicate the timings of the day via email. The first category will be starting from 9am.
Competition routines will be sent out after the closing date. Each gymnast will be assigned a routine for Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor. The routine they choose (with the help of a coach) will be based on their ability and comfort levels, and will be clarified on a card given to them in their lesson prior to the competition.
Videos will be produced to help gymnasts who are struggling to remember their routines, or would like to practice a little more at home. Please make sure you read the routines as some of the routines have optional skills in (which will not be demonstrated in the video).
Gymnasts will receive a score card at the beginning of the competition, and take it with them as they compete on the floor, vault, bars and beam. Their routine will be scored based on how well the gymnasts perform each skill, and that score will earn them either a bronze, silver or gold award, which will be added onto their score card. Gymnasts will get to choose between 4 different difficulty levels of routine in the gym, and will do their best to try and score as high as possible with the level of routine they have chosen. At the end of the competition, all participants will achieve a Bronze, Silver or Gold medal depending on what they score throughout the competition.
The entry to the event costs £10.00 per gymnast. There will be an entrance fee on the day for spectators which will be £3 per adults and children 16 and under are free.
